Rarely in Utah will you see snow in April—but it happens! It has been a long winter for us but now with the weather warming up, we can expect to have a nicer spring season. The warmer weather means it’s time to plan road trips! Here are a few of our favorite places that we recommend.

Moab

For outdoor enthusiasts this place is paradise. With so many things to do, you won’t have time to do it all. Some of the great things you can do include: visiting Arches National Park to see the famous Delicate Arch, hiking, rock climbing, and biking, just to name a few. If you’ve never taken a trip out there, you’re definitely missing out on everything that mother nature has to offer. 

St George 

About four hours away from Salt Lake, St. George is your home away from home. It’s a nice road trip for those needed weekend getaways. Enjoy some alone time with your partner, play some golf, or just relax in the pool. The weather there is always a bit warmer than in Salt Lake and there are even palm trees out there which makes everything better. 

Lava Hot Springs

Take a trip out of Utah and visit Lava Hot springs in Idaho. If you’ve never been there, spring isn’t a bad time to visit. During the winter months in Utah, we use our brakes more often due to certain road conditions. You can check for wear by looking at your brake pads and making sure it had at least ¼ inch of pad left. If it doesn’t, it’s time to get them changed.
