Three Signs You Know It's Spring in Utah

Living in Utah, you know that the weather is inconsistent. It starts getting warmer and you’re thinking the temperature will only go up from there. Come to find out the next week there is a snowstorm forecasted. Luckily for us, there are a few ways we can tell that spring is upon us. Here are three signs that let you know the warmer weather is here to stay.

Plants Blossom
When spring arrives, the day starts to get warmer and there are more hours of daylight. Trees, flowers, and plants start to bud and bloom and soon everything will be green. It’s a great time to take a stroll and admire all that Mother Nature has to offer us in Utah.

Allergy Season
If you have allergies, you’ll know when you step foot outside that spring is here. For those who suffer from spring allergies, you will start to experience runny noses, congestion, sneezing, itchy and watery eyes, and more. This is a clear sign that there is pollen in the air and that allergy season has arrived. But it also means that longer days filled with sunshine will soon become the norm.

Signs of Wildlife
Once you see more wildlife out and about you’ll know the season is changing for the better. Not only can humans sense seasonal changes, but wildlife can too. Animals pay attention to their environment and can sense when days get longer and shorter. Many animals start to lay eggs and come out from their habitats to collect food after winter is over. Look out for your four-legged friends for signs that better days are right around the corner.

As Utah weather can trick us, we want to make sure we are prepared. We can do this by preparing our vehicle and make sure we rid it of winter damage. The team at Larry H. Miller Lexus of Lindon will be happy to do a service inspection and make sure your vehicle is ready for the warmer days ahead.
